Have you always dreamt of going to Italy while not having to worry about making any travel plans? Mercy McAuley is going back to Italy in the summer of 2028, but this time for alumnae and friends. Current Mercy McAuley teacher and McAuley alumna, Mrs. Lisa Chase Heiert '94, has all the details put together. She is eager to take alumnae and friends back to Italy after experiencing Italy with the Mercy McAuley students, faculty, and staff last week. This 25-year celebration was one for the memory books! The Class of 2001 gathered this past weekend to celebrate their milestone reunion with an evening filled with conversation, fun, and laughter. Thank you to those who planned and those who attended both in person and in spirit!

Mercy McAuley is thrilled to welcome Emma Wessel to the Advancement Team as its second Alumnae Engagement Officer! Emma, a lifelong Westsider, is a proud member of Mercy McAuley’s Class of 2020. Before attending Mercy McAuley, she attended Mother of Mercy, continuing her family's legacy. Following graduation, Emma graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and a master’s degree in Sports Administration. Emma will work closely with our extensive alumnae network, strengthening relationships and enhancing engagement across the Mercy McAuley community.
"Having the opportunity to come back to my Alma Mater has been nothing short of amazing," says Emma. "I am excited for what is to come while continuing to grow as a Woman of Mercy."

Congratulations to Kathleen Mette Fussinger '78 on completing the Flying Pig Marathon as a streaker! 28 years in a row is such an amazing accomplishment and we are so proud of you!
These streakers added yet another Flying Pig Marathon to their pig tale! Onward to #29 in 2027. 🐽🪽

Last night kicked off the start of graduation celebrations for the Class of 2026 as they celebrated a Baccalaureate Mass and will take their final steps across the stage as Mercy McAuley students at graduation this evening. A new class entering the ranks of alumnae have us reflecting on our graduations over the years. Whether it has been 10, 30, or 60 years since we graduated, the friendships and memories made are truly timeless!

Mercy McAuley was thrilled to welcome Barbara Adams ’76 to campus last month to share her impressive career and experiences with current students. Barbara spent 42 years in the Aerospace industry after her time in the US Army, in which she served as a Helicopter Test Pilot and Maintenance Officer. Thank you for sharing your time and talents with Mercy McAuley students, Barbara!
