You know how the old saying goes: a squirrel monkey mom's job is never done.

We're bringing you a update on Gizmo and her growing little one! When squirrel monkey babies are born, they often stay close to mom by riding along on her back. The baby has begun to explore off Gizmo's back, but often stays close for comfort. Our animal care team reports that the group of squirrel monkeys have been sharing in babysitting duties and monitoring the baby's exploration adventures, allowing Gizmo ample time to rest!

The trust between the grey whales and boat captains at the calving lagoon of Ojo de Liebre in Guerrero Negro is something developed over the numerous encounters throughout the years. This is one of my favorite views overlooking the natural bridges in Oregon.

The land has formed in such a way that it resembles bridges over the turquoise water of the Pacific ocean. In the right lighting the water is see-through and vibrant providing onlookers with an otherworldly scene.

The moss growing on the land adds to the dynamic colors and reminds me of the thriving ecosystem that accompanies this incredible natural wonder. While the fog serves as a reminder that I am in the Pacific NorthWest. I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to explore this insanely beautiful corner of the world.

The eagle has landed! Actually a pair of Bald Eagles have made Winton Woods their home and just welcomed an eaglet!

They're hosting an "Eagle Nest Watch Open House" on Sundays in May. They will provide viewing hours with interpreters and spotting scopes set up at the Adventure Outpost boat launch area from 7 - 9 a.m. and again 4 - 6 p.m. Please be aware that this area is only open during these open house times. Viewings will be canceled in cases of inclement weather.

She was constantly staying near the fish market and watching people come to buy fish. She took a leaf that fell from the tree and came to the owner. On the first day, surprised, he took her "money" and gave her a fish. From that day on, every morning she comes with a leaf to "buy" fish.

Just want people to know there are dance classes at the College Hill Town Hall but they are offered by Mutual Dance Theatre now.
