🏀🔥 The annual middle school students vs. staff basketball game was one for the books! Our 6th–8th graders pulled off a HUGE victory on the last day of school, winning 14-12 for the FIRST time ever! 🎉👏

The gym was full of energy, laughter, and friendly competition as students and staff battled it out on the court. What a fun way to wrap up an amazing school year! 💛🦁💙

Last Wednesday, May 13th, our K-5 scholars had an unforgettable day exploring the amazing animals at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden! 🦒🐻🐢

Students enjoyed seeing bears, giant tortoises, giraffes, Fiona the hippo, and so many other incredible animals while learning and making memories with their classmates. It was a wild day full of fun, adventure, and lots of smiles! 🌿✨

Our K-8 scholars who met their stretch growth goals on their iReady diagnostic testing earned a tasty reward — a nacho party! 🌮🎉

Students piled on all their favorite toppings while celebrating their hard work in math and reading.

We are so proud of the growth and determination they’ve shown this year!

Kindergarten through 5th grade students had an amazing time during today’s school assembly with the NED performer! Students learned the importance of staying strong, showing resilience, and working through tough emotions when things feel hard or frustrating. Along with important life lessons, we were entertained with incredible yo-yo tricks, fun balloon creations, and interactive chants that kept everyone engaged! 🎈🪀

Our students walked away with new tools and strategies to help them stay positive, never give up, and always do their best. What a fun and meaningful experience for our Lions! 🦁

🦁🌿 Safari fun was in full swing at Riverside Academy during our Kindergarten Round-Up for our future 2026-2027 kindergartners!

Our little lions had a great time exploring safari-themed games, practicing counting skills, matching letters, and getting a sneak peek into kindergarten life! 📚✨

This event is a wonderful opportunity for families to visit our school, see the kindergarten classrooms, meet the teacher, and ask any questions about the upcoming school year. We loved meeting some future Riverside students and families! 💙💛

Our kindergarteners are growing into confident, independent learners! 📚✨

After reading a story together in class, students worked hard to answer extended response questions all on their own. They practiced thinking deeply, using details from the story, and putting their ideas into complete sentences—just like first graders!

We are so proud of their progress as they build strong reading comprehension and writing skills to get ready for the next grade level. Keep up the great work, Kindergarten! 💛✏️

Our 1st graders turned into little shape detectives today! 🔍✨

Students went on a 2D shape hunt around the classroom, searching for circles, squares, rectangles, and triangles! 🛑🟧⚠️💚🔷🟣

Once they found the shapes they needed, they would put together bigger shapes, flowers, and other pictures!
