Congratulations to our very own Evan Brooks for being honored at the STEMmys award ceremony as Graduate Student of the Year!
This award recognizes individuals working to support STEM outreach and advancement within their careers while engaging with the community. As the former president of SACNAS and founding member of BBG, Evan showcased his exemplary skills both in and out of lab as he earned multiple competitive fellowships for his research and published in two premier journals while simultaneously being involved with a multitude of diversity initiatives at the University of Cincinnati.

We had a great time with the McNair Scholars Program undergraduates at UC! There was some great discussions about what it is like to be a professional in the STEM field. We were also able to discuss how to best prepare your CV for graduate school! Looking forward to further collaborations with this bright group🌟

We're proud of Cincy SACNISTA and past-president Jennifer Patritti Cram as she was officially hooded and walked across the graduation stage this past weekend as a PhD in Neuroscience! She's officially started her career in the DC area. We'll miss Jennifer, but her legacy to our chapter will live on through our peer mentoring program.
