Trial days at Meridian Micro School support thoughtful, long-term enrollment decisions. They allow prospective students to experience the rhythm of our days and help determine whether there is a mutual fit.
Trial days are available Monday–Thursday, and Fridays (enrichment only) for families considering enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year.

At Meridian Micro School, we believe small schools offer big advantages. Every detail of our environment, from class size to location, is intentionally chosen to reflect real world community life, not a traditional school system.
Here, children learn and grow in spaces that feel connected, human, and authentic, where relationships come first and learning extends beyond walls, playgrounds, and cafeterias.

Microschools are often marketed with buzzwords like personalized learning, student-led environments, self-paced learning, flexible schedules, and learner-centered classrooms. These ideas sound compelling, but they only become meaningful when grounded in daily practice, careful observation, and a deep understanding of child development.
At Meridian, our lab schools are learning communities where we put these ideas into practice every day. Over time, we’ve learned that meaningful learning grows from responsive teaching, shared rhythms, prepared environments, and clear boundaries that support both focus and belonging.

At Meridian Micro School, technology is intentional. Our students use carefully chosen tools like this portable CD player to listen while they work, moving freely, choosing their pace, and staying connected to the environment.
It supports focus without replacing hands-on learning or human connection. This is a small glimpse into daily life inside our modern one-room schoolhouse.
