🌿🦁🐒 What a wild week it’s been! 🐒🦁🌿

Our first week of LGS Summer Camp was a huge success! Students spent the week exploring the wonders of the animal kingdom through hands-on activities, special visitors, and exciting adventures. We wrapped up our Wild Wonders week with a trip to the Cincinnati Zoo, where campers enjoyed seeing animals up close, exploring exhibits, and making memories with friends.

Thank you to all of our campers and staff for an amazing start to summer. We can’t wait to see what adventures the rest of camp has in store! ☀️🐾🦒

🦎🐍 Wild Wonders Week continued with an exciting visit from Cool Critters! 🐢

Our summer campers had an unforgettable visit from Cool Critters, who brought a variety of amazing animals for students to meet up close. From snakes and tortoises to lizards and other fascinating creatures, campers had the opportunity to learn about wildlife, ask questions, and even interact with some of the animals. The smiles, curiosity, and excitement on display made for a wild and wonderful day at LGS Summer Camp! 🌿✨

Recently, we celebrated our incredible Class of 2026 at the LGS 8th Grade Graduation Ceremony! 🎓💚

We are so proud of all our graduates and cannot wait to see what’s next for them. Congratulations, Class of 2026! ✨

On Friday’s staff work day, our team had the incredible opportunity to hear from Tyler, an LGS alumni, as he demonstrated how he communicates through text-based communication with the support of his communication partner, Madi Fox. Tyler shared powerful insights and perspectives that left a lasting impact on everyone in the room.

As LGS continues to grow and learn, text-based communication training through Communication 4 Education will be a major focus area in the upcoming school year. Several staff members have already completed training, with even more preparing to begin soon as we continue expanding communication opportunities for our students.

A huge thank you to Scott Fox and Kid Power Therapy for their continued partnership with LGS and for helping make experiences like this possible. We are grateful for your support and collaboration as we continue striving to presume competence and empower every voice.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the heroes who gave their lives in service to our country. Wishing our LGS community a meaningful Memorial Day as we reflect with gratitude and remembrance. 🇺🇸

Yesterday, our LGS Class of 2026 headed to Kings Island for their annual 8th grade field trip! 🎢☀️ It was a day full of fun, memories, and celebration as these students get ready for their next chapter. We are so proud of our graduating 8th graders and loved getting to celebrate them together! 💚💙
