iSPACE Interactive programs for students, educators and families in science, technology, engineering & mathematics (STEM) that reach beyond the formal classroom

Founded in 2001, iSPACE, the STEM Learning Place, makes learning exciting! iSPACE provides the Greater Cincinnati region with opportunities for students in grades Pre-K through 12 to supplement their education in areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Both in-house and outreach programs are offered for students, educators, organizations and families with an emphasis on h

ands-on learning in the areas of STEM. By working in conjunction with, or to supplement, formal classroom learning, iSPACE programs help drive interest in STEM while raising the awareness of careers in the sciences, engineering and technology fields. iSPACE students explore robotics, rocketry, and more. They engage in active, hands-on problem solving and team-based projects. They build the skills and confidence they’ll need in college and as they join our region’s workforce with careers in manufacturing, technology, research, health care, etc. iSPACE programs are aligned with national and state educational standards and complement teaching curriculum across the Greater Cincinnati Region.

We love our LEGO Mathletes and the Making Mathletes program, but we may be biased... So take a moment to hear what one of our teacher partners says about what this program is doing for her students! We love hearing success stories like this. For more about the iSPACE LEGO Mathletes program, check out the link to our website.

On this Thankful Thursday, iSPACE is thankful for a grant from the Dater Foundation to support Making Mathletes this year! Dater has provided crucial support for Making Mathletes since 2021. The donor-funded program partners with teachers at under-resourced schools to engage 2nd and 4th grade students in hands-on lessons that build skills and confidence in math using LEGO.

Thank you, Dater Foundation for your continued support and for helping us make a difference in the lives of students around Cincinnati!
