Combat Training via Burmese BANDO and Other Martial Systems. Lion Corps Academy is a school of combative training by way of Burmese Bando.
Other Martial Systems are also taught in order to assure a fast and efficient victory. Bando provides a healing aspect to its training as well as hurting. In the words of the Founder and Chief Instructor of the American Bando Association, Mahasayaji Dr U Maung Gyi, "The later years of a martial artist should not be lived as cripples." The American Bando Association incorporates a 9 Animal System. The Animal System chosen by the host based on the person's body type and personality. But the host knows that accepting such a path comes with much pain and suffering. If endured, then the spirit of the thing itself will operate without hindrance!

While vacationing in Puerto Morelos Mexico, Wasiya and I spent time with one of the ABA's pillars of the system, Bama Lethwei. The Honorable Dr Sayaji Dale Minor. Friday September 15th 2023 was a day where Lion Corps Academy salutes Mr Langston McGhee for completing NAVAL boot camp. He is now a Sailor of the U.S. NAVY. It is an honor to witness a beautiful transformation from a 9 year old boy to a young strongman. As Salaam Alaikum, Alhumdilullah!!
