BASOatUC had successful 3rd meeting of the semester on 2/21/2020. We filled up few board member position that was up for vacancy. Let’s congratulate our newly elected board members: Dev Dhakal-Secretary, Bhola Paudel-Treasurer, Raghu Neopaney- Media, and Rishav Paudel- Vice-Secretary. We also discussed about our upcoming plans, volunteering, and mental health aid training. Our members also had fun doing some few photo shoots.

BASOatUC hosted successful registration drive today. We were able to have lot of people register to vote. Now, they will be able to exercise their fundamental right to vote as a citizen of this country. Thank you to all the students that came and helped in this process of registering people. Another biggest gratitude goes to BCC chairmen Ramesh Adhikari for providing us with all the tools and equipments needed for this event to be successful. For people asking if we are doing further events like this in future, yes! we will be doing it for the general election and we will post information about it on our page.

March 17, 2020 is Primary election day!!

The deadline to register for Ohio’s 2020
Primary election is Tuesday, Feb. 18.

Here is the link for online voter registration:

To register online you will need to provide the following:
• Ohio driver’s license or Ohio identification card number
• Name
• Date of Birth
• Address
• Last four digits of your Social Security number

Last week, BASOatUC was able to volunteer at Shared Harvest Food Bank, handing out the foods to the family in need. Thank you for all the students that were able to come out and embracing the cold to serve the community. Also, another big thanks and appreciation to the students that were able to come out to the meeting today. You guys are inspirational and future leaders of the community. Hearing your ideas and desire to help the community will highly benefit the community moving forward. Let’s get it done and make our community proud!
