Through insightful group coaching, authentic discussions, and engaging activities Hope Haven seeks to foster personal development, positive transformation, and the pursuit of purpose.
Each session is a journey of self-discovery and mindfulness aimed at inspiring its participants to thrive in every area and in every circumstance they face.

Coach Albee is a certified professional life coach with 20+ years’ experience in mentoring and motivating people from all walks of life.
A prolific speaker and author of the book, “Loving Me Free – My Journey in Learning to Live Authentically,” he is relentlessly passionate about helping others to live intentionally in both the beauty and power of their own truth.

✨ A Historic Milestone for Xavier University ✨

On Friday November 7, we proudly hosted inaugural induction ceremony for the Alpha Alpha Alpha (Tri-Alpha) First-Generation Honor Society. This important moment reflects Xavier’s continued commitment to elevating and honoring first-generation excellence.

•Over 90 first-generation students inducted
•Over 40 faculty and staff inducted
•Xavier’s first year as an official Tri-Alpha chapter

The ceremony recognized the academic achievement, leadership, and resilience of our first-generation community. We are grateful for the faculty, staff, families, and supporters who continue to champion first-gen student success at Xavier.

Congratulations to all of our inductees. Your accomplishments strengthen the Xavier community and inspire future generations.

Our First Steps, Smooth Transitions, and Arrupe Scholars students have been showing up and taking charge of their first-year experience — and we’re proud of the work they’re putting in!

Through Ignite Labs, students are gaining confidence in their academics, learning how to manage their time and money wisely, building supportive networks, and discovering the resources that help them thrive on campus.

These experiences are shaping strong scholars, resilient leaders, and connected community members — exactly what it means to be a Musketeer.

First-Gen Fridays Kickoff!

Today we hosted our first First-Gen Friday workshop of the semester —
To Withdraw or Not to Withdraw: That Is the Question.”

Led by the amazing team from the Office of Advising and Learning Support (OALS), students learned how to make informed decisions about course withdrawals — exploring key deadlines, academic impacts, and campus resources to help them stay on track for success.

Thank you to OALS and all our first-gen students who showed up, asked questions, and supported one another!
