Music Resource Center - Cincinnati Inspiring Cincinnati Teens Through Music. MRC is a non-profit music and recording studio for teens in grades 7-12.

So what does this mean to you as a high school student? MRC is open during after school hours for any high school student to attend and record, learn to play, or practice music in a fun and safe environment with their peers for a very small and affordable membership fee. We provide students with access to the recording equipment, software, instruments, and resources they need to get started or gro

w into a great singer, rapper, guitar player, DJ, producer... you name it! MRC is excited to be part of this year’s Fort Thomas, Kentucky Merchants & Music Festival!

Join us at The Post - Pours & Rations on September 19 from 1:30–3:30 p.m. for live performances from MRC teens SFEXTI, NCMC, Ruby, and MAINSTAY!

Come early and grab a bite or drink while you’re there! The Post is generously donating 10% of proceeds from 11:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. to MRC.

Come enjoy the festival, support our young musicians, and help support MRC!

MRC offers one-on-one Piano and Guitar Lessons designed to help students build skills, confidence, and a lifelong connection to music. All skill levels are welcome.

Lessons are available for ages 5+. Spots are limited, and registration closes September 4. Financial assistance is available.

Ever wonder what it takes to give a teen their own stage? 🎤

Thanks to a generous $5,000 grant from First Financial Foundation, more young people across Greater Cincinnati will get the chance to discover their voice and build real skills for the future.

This funding supports high quality music instruction, recording and production programming, mentorship, and teaching artists at the Music Resource Center, reaching teens who might not otherwise have access to these opportunities because of cost, transportation, or where they live.

Every note recorded and every skill learned is a step toward a brighter future for these young artists.

Fall Group Programs start September 8, so now is the time to get your young musician involved!

The Music Resource Center offers three group programs designed for making music, building skills, and finding community. All skill levels are welcome.

🎛️ Music Production: Build a track from the first beat to the final mix
🎸 MRC Band: Rehearse, collaborate, and perform as a group
🎶 NEW Ukulele Group Lessons: Learn the basics and start playing from day one

Open Studio is back for the school year! 🎧🎸🎮

Teens ages 12–18 can drop in Monday–Friday from 2–7 PM to make music, record, rehearse, collaborate, hang out, and connect with the MRC community.

Membership is just $10/month, and our themed days are happening this week and throughout the school year!
Come spend some time with us this week while we gear up for our next session of programs & lessons beginning September 8.

The Music Resource Center - Cincinnati is hosting its Fall Open House TODAY (Fri 21 Aug) 4-7pm. Come learn about all that the MRC has to offer through fun group activities, guided tours and info sessions!

Located at 3032 Woodburn Ave., the Music Resource Center - Cincinnati uses the recording and performing arts to create a sense of empowerment and accomplishment in area teens.

Fall registration is currently open. With programming for ages 5+, there are more ways than ever to get involved—from private piano and guitar lessons to music production, MRC Band, and group ukulele lessons.

Students ages 12–18 can also become Open Studio members, with drop-in access to the MRC Monday–Friday to record, write, rehearse, collaborate, and create.

Additionally the facility offers professional studio services to the wider community.

Studio Recording: Work one-on-one with an engineer to record vocals, instruments, or full productions using industry-standard equipment. Our studio includes multiple rooms, high-quality microphones, and an isolated vocal booth.

Podcast Production: Record your podcast with full engineering support so you can focus on hosting great conversations. Perfect for interviews, discussions, and multi-guest episodes.

Whether you’re recording music, producing a podcast or developing creative content for your organization, bring your vision to life at the MRC in a fully equipped, professional studio environment.

Fall registration is officially open at the MRC! With programming for ages 5+, there are more ways than ever to get involved—from private piano and guitar lessons to music production, MRC Band, and group ukulele lessons.
