Last month, we gathered for our 2nd Annual Decibel Awards to celebrate our graduating seniors and devoted volunteers who make the Music Resource Center such a special community.

We are so proud of this year's honorees and grateful for everyone who joined us to celebrate their accomplishments. Congratulations again to the Class of 2026 and all of our award recipients. We can't wait to see where your next chapter takes you.

Summer Camps are right around the corner. Our first Musician Camp starts next week!

We’re excited to share that one of our Producer Camp sessions is already full, and limited spots remain in all other camps.

We’re excited to kick off our summer Open Studio schedule with themed days, special activities, and plenty of opportunities to create and connect.

Please note that Open Studio will only take place during the weeks listed on the schedule. During the other weeks, our studios will be busy hosting Summer Camps.

Open Studio is available to students ages 12–18 with an MRC membership. Membership is just $10/month and includes access to our studios, equipment, and activities.

Here’s a look at our schedule for next week at MRC.

As many students wrap up the school year, we’re looking forward to finishing strong and spending time together in the studio before summer begins!

We’ll be open for Open Studio on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2–7 PM. Please note that we’ll be closed Monday for Memorial Day and Thursday/Friday for staff professional development.

We’re excited to partner with to host the MRC Youth Fest, a celebration of youth bands and young musicians from across the city!

Come out for a night of live music featuring local youth bands, including two groups, .band and .

This event is free and open to the community. We’d love to see you there supporting young artists and live music. 💜

This summer, we’re offering private piano and guitar lessons for all ages and experience levels, from young beginners to adult learners.

We believe cost should never be a barrier to creativity. Financial assistance is available for all lessons. We are committed to working with families and individuals who need support.
