Project EXCEL has made some changes recently! We are now the Success+ Program at MSJ and have expanded our services.
We still have our comprehensive tutoring package for students with documented learning differences, called the Academic Success Package. We have added professional tutoring options for all students in the areas of Math, Science, Writing, and Executive function support. Finally, we have a Social Skills Support option for neurodivergent students.

Each year Project EXCEL invites the students in our program to apply for one of two Merit Scholarships worth $1000 each.
Students must have completed one semester at The Mount, must be a full-time student (12 credit hours), and can only receive it one time.
Students complete certain criteria, which includes their involvement in campus activities, Project Excel utilization, and an essay sharing why they believe they are deserving of the scholarship.
Candidates must also have a recommendation from one of their Project EXCEL tutors, and a recommendation from a member of faculty, advisor, coach or mentor.
At this year’s End of Year Celebration we were so pleased to announce our 2023 winners! Kate and Jack do an amazing job and truly deserve this award!
Congratulations to them both!
