Today we celebrate the hard work, dedication, and contributions of the incredible people who make our In GOD'S Hands community so special. I am especially grateful for our amazing team members who provide education, compassionate care, support and kindness to our children and families every day.

🌞 Let’s Recap: “Camp Responsible Me” Summer 2026! 🌞

What a summer it has been at In GOD’S Hands Christian Youth Center! 💚

We believe learning doesn’t stop when school lets out. As a year-round Christian youth center, we provide educational opportunities, hands-on experiences, character development, and plenty of FUN all year long!

This summer, our campers participated in “Camp Responsible Me,” where they learned what it means to be responsible for their learning, themselves, and their community.

🌱 Making a Difference in Our Community 🎨

Our campers sanded and primed rain barrels for our community playground, The Tot Lot on Zinsle Avenue. We hope to have them designed and ready to paint this coming spring!

They also brainstormed their own ideas for improvements that could make The Tot Lot more accessible and enjoyable for children of all ages. We love seeing our campers learn that their ideas and voices can make a difference in their community!

🌻 Growing Responsibility 🍅🥒🌼

Our campers worked in our center garden, planting flowers, tomatoes, and zucchini—and now we’re enjoying the harvest!

📚 Keeping Learning Going

We made sure our campers continued building their skills throughout the summer so they could return to school ready to learn. They practiced reading, math, writing, and social skills while learning to take responsibility for their choices, actions, and learning.

☀️ And, Of Course… We Had FUN!

Summer wouldn’t be complete without some exciting adventures! Our campers enjoyed trips to the Cincinnati Zoo and Lake Waynoka, participated in swim lessons through Cincinnati Recreation Commission Aquatics, and so much more!

🎓 We wrapped up an amazing summer with our Preschool Graduation and Promotions Ceremony, celebrating all of the growth and accomplishments of our little learners!

Good morning all,

Good morning everyone. Our school-age summer camp ends morning group with prayer. The children take turns selecting a prayer to share at the end of our group meeting. I've wanted to share the morning prayer but just never followed through (I'm not much of a social media person). But, the prayers they select are so powerful and I'm compelled to share. Have a blessed day!
