CTE Month begins Wednesday! We’re so excited to celebrate career and technical education all month long and we can’t wait to see what you share. This year we’ve partnered up with NCCER to host our first CTE Month Spirit Week! Join us from February 20-24 to connect with our CTE community and for a chance to win a $100 gift card. Students love purposeful learning, the heart of CTE instruction. They love working with industry mentors solving real-world problems, producing real-world products, helping real patients, they love making the real world a better place as they learn.

"Many of the tradespeople in Angi's survey said they were satisfied with their work mainly because they found meaning and value in it. "
"And that's an opportunity where you get to see something that you've done that may be here 20, 30, 40 years later, and be able to look at your kids or grandkids and say, 'I was a part of that,'" Ponder added.
"So many people that I saw start off at barely over minimum wage, 10 years later they were running million-dollar projects because they worked hard and they learned, and there's just not a lot of industries out there that still have that flexibility and freedom to allow you to grow based on what you're learning on the job," Ponder said.

The skilled trades have a labor shortage too, but the work is high-paying and popular. Experts say there are many reasons the future is bright.
