2026 Best & Brightest Online MBA: Justin Lincoln, University of Cincinnati (Lindner) 08/14/2026

Congratulations to Justin Lincoln for being named to Poets&Quants Best & Brightest Online MBAs Class of 2026!

Justin is a two-time Lindner graduate, completing his undergraduate degree in operations management in 2014 and his MBA in April of this year.

The decision to return to Lindner may seem like a no-brainer for an established Bearcat, but Justin weighed several factors before ultimately choosing the online MBA program.

“I chose University of Cincinnati’s online MBA program for several reasons. Its national rankings were higher than alternatives. It was flexible without sacrificing education quality and it offered an accompanying graduate certificate in data analytics. This allowed me to customize my educational experience in a way that maximally tied to my professional reality: one part operations and one part data.”

Finding his drive at UC 08/13/2026

A co-op can change more than a résumé. It can change the course of a career.

For Dan McDavid, Bus '71, Lindner's distinctive co-op model provided more than professional experience — it helped him ignite his passion for the automotive industry that led to five co-op rotations at Ford Motor Company, and to leadership roles at both Ford and Chrysler, where he ultimately retired as a vice president.

Dan’s story is a powerful reminder that real-world experience doesn't just prepare students for their first job. It helps them find the career they're meant to pursue.

More than 50 years later, Dan still credits co-op with launching a career he calls "a dream come true."

What does it take for a first-generation college student with a geology degree to become CEO of a major telecommunications company?

In the latest episode of Bearcats Mean Business, altafiber President/CEO Leigh Fox joins Dean Marianne Lewis to share the leadership lessons that shaped his career—from embracing uncertainty and learning through failure to why the CEO title can be dangerous if you let it define you.
