🦈🌊 Sharks came to Urban Promise Academy!

We are grateful to have partnered with the WAVE Foundation to host the Newport Aquarium Sharks Program, giving our students an incredible hands-on opportunity to learn about some of the ocean’s most fascinating creatures. Students explored shark biology, discovered the important role sharks play in maintaining healthy ecosystems, and even had the chance to interact with shark-related artifacts and experiences up close!

At Cincinnati Urban Promise, we believe learning comes alive when students can see, touch, question, and explore the world around them. Experiences like this spark curiosity, build confidence, and inspire students to become lifelong learners.
A huge thank you to the for bringing this engaging and educational program to our students. The excitement, wonder, and endless questions throughout the day showed just how powerful experiential learning can be!

Our kindergarteners are learning something powerful—how to slow down, breathe, and be still. Through guided meditation, they’re practicing focus, self-awareness, and emotional regulation in ways that will serve them far beyond the classroom.

At Cincinnati Urban Promise, our mission is about more than academics. We are committed to developing whole, healthy children—intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually. Creating space for reflection, calm, and connection with God and with ourselves helps our students build a strong foundation on the inside, not just the outside.

When you share CUP with friends and family, you’re not just spreading the word—you’re helping more students access a high-quality, supportive learning environment… and you’ll be rewarded for it too.

💙 Here’s how it works:
• Refer a family who schedules and attends a tour → receive a $20 gas or grocery card
• If that family enrolls and attends for the 2026–27 school year → receive an additional $100 gas or grocery card

That’s up to $120 just for sharing something you already believe in!
