🔧📚 Learning HVAC the Way It Was Meant to Be Learned

Today's lesson didn't stop at the whiteboard.

After learning the fundamentals in the classroom, our students headed into the lab, opened up live training systems, connected their gauges, and began analyzing system performance like real HVAC technicians.

They learned how to:

✅ Properly connect and use manifold gauges
✅ Measure system pressures and temperatures
✅ Calculate superheat and subcooling
✅ Evaluate refrigerant charge conditions
✅ Understand what the refrigeration cycle is telling them

Anyone can memorize definitions from a textbook. The real growth happens when students put their hands on the equipment, gather data, perform calculations, and understand WHY a system is operating the way it is.

At Southern Ohio Technical Institute, we don't just teach HVAC theory—we teach students how to think, troubleshoot, and work like technicians from day one.
