We are proud to award brother Noah Congemi Phi of the Semester 🏆

Noah is a second year architecture major from Appleton, Wisconsin.

Noah facilitated ALS and Live Like Lou outreach events. He spearheaded our Saturday Hoops volunteering. Noah also began our campus ALS volunteering and awareness. All resulting in a record total chapter volunteer hours since reinstatement. We are grateful for brothers like Noah who truly show what it means to be a Phi Delt⚔️⚔️

IRON PHI : AIDEN STRINGER 🏆

Iron Phi is a philanthropic program developed by the Phi Delta Theta fraternity in 2010 to fight Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS). It challenges members and others to select an athletic endeavor, raise at least $1,000, and complete the effort to “leave ALS better than they found it”. Funds support the Live Like Lou Foundation.

Hear Aiden’s testimony:

I started this just in hope of reaching the iron phi goal, but by the end I realized it was about a lot more then just getting a title. I started by just reaching out to coworkers, family, and friends. Simple texts, social media posts, anything to get the word out. I found out soon after I did all that just how many people I knew had been affected by ALS. An old coworker lost a relative to ALS and my grandpas cousin lost her brother to it. Actually my grandpas cousin ended up being my top donater of $290. The amount of support from people around me was insane and knowing why they were supporting was really eye opening. By the time I reached the $1000, I was so much more grateful that I did this then when I started, because I know now just how much of an impact this disease makes on people’s lives and how badly a cure is needed. Being able to do my physical feat in an Iron Phi shirt and talk to people at the 5k about it was really amazing as well. Overall the only reason I was able to complete this was from overwhelming support from family and friends. Anyone can do it, they just have to remember what they’re doing it for and put their mind to it.

Meet Karsten Johnson, A freshman finance and economics (Pre-Law) student from Fort Wayne.

I originally wasn’t interested in Greek life, but after meeting some of the guys, my perspective quickly changed. Learning more about the leadership development and strong sense of brotherhood made me even more interested. Joining has been one of the best decisions I’ve made.

Meet Gabe Pawelczyk. A First Year Aerospace Engineering student from Grand Island, NY. He is a part of Rocketry Club, KESEM, and Men’s Club Soccer, and is interested in sci fi and things to do with space. 🔭🪐🛰️

“I joined Phi Delt because of the connection I already had with many of the guys before I ever considered joining. What stands out to me is that nothing feels forced. It’s not about showing up because we have to, but about being part of a group of guys who genuinely want to spend time together as friends”
