Today, I sit with happy tears. 🥹❤️

Sometimes I get so caught up in where I want to be that I forget just how far I’ve come.

Yesterday at Cincinnati Bake Off, one of my longtime supporters said something to me that I haven’t stopped thinking about. To her, it may have been just kind words, but to me, it was a reminder that I’m making progress, even when I can’t see it.

Two years ago, I competed in Cincinnati Bake Off. I didn’t win, and truthfully, I was in a season where I was struggling to see the light.

Fast forward two years, and I’m now being asked to create products for Pillsbury. 🥹

Same girl. Same dream. Different season.

Sometimes God allows you to revisit a place just to show you how far He’s brought you. ❤️

Keep going. Even when it doesn’t feel like anything is happening. Something is. ✨

When Cincinnati Magazine calls with an opportunity to create something for PILLSBURY… you already know I’m saying YES! 😍🧁

This year, I had the opportunity to work behind the scenes for Cincinnati Bake Off, creating something special for Pillsbury!

Pillsbury is introducing their NEW Dot Icing, which hasn’t even hit store shelves yet! 👀✨ And Cincinnati Magazine reached out on their behalf with a fun assignment: create a Dubai-inspired cupcake using Pillsbury’s Pistachio Cake Mix! 💚

One of my favorite things about baking is taking an idea and bringing it to life. And getting opportunities like this with recognizable brands is something I don’t take lightly.

Every time I think about how Cora’s Cakery started and where this journey continues to take me, I’m reminded that you never know who’s watching your work or what doors God is preparing to open. 🧡

A huge thank you to Cincinnati Magazine and Pillsbury for trusting me to bring this sweet creation to life!

Now Cake Cousins, be honest… would you try a Dubai Pistachio Cupcake?! Or What about their new DOT icing? 👀💚

This year, I traded my spot at the baking table for a seat at the judges’ table! 👩🏾‍🍳🎂🏆

If you noticed I didn’t compete in this year’s Cincinnati Bake Off, there’s a reason! Your girl has been busy working behind the scenes AGAIN! 👀🤫

I’ve had another exciting opportunity to work with Pillsbury on something NEW they have coming, and I cannot wait to share it with you! Stay tuned because the BIG reveal is happening later TODAY! 🎉

But that’s not all! This year, I had the honor of returning to the Cincinnati Bake Off in a completely different role… AS A JUDGE! 🏆

Going from competing to helping judge the competition was such a full-circle moment for me. I absolutely loved seeing everyone’s creativity and tasting what these talented bakers brought to the table!

Sometimes God opens doors you didn’t even know to knock on. I’m just grateful to keep walking through them. 🧡

Now, who’s ready to see what Pillsbury has been cooking up?! 👀🍰
