Check out these recipes! Great Halloween ideas where the kids can help!

One of my favorite things about Halloween is how it allows for silliness and creativity when it comes to food. I love the challenge of finding ways to bring healthy, but creepy options to the table - especially when the dishes are met with squeals and shrieks of delight. These Mummy Fingers are a great example and are super fun to make with your kids. For this recipe as well as other ideas, along with tips for how to get your kids involved in the cooking fun, check out my latest post! https://www.thescramble.com/holidays-blogs/fun-and-healthy-halloween-snack-recipes/

A great video on making chocolate chip cookies and how the different sugars, flours and fats create a delicious cookie. It’s a helpful video for young bakers.

Hope to see you at the Wyoming Fall Festival on Saturday from 10-5.

We're selling embroidered feather pillows, all-natural dog treats, fused glass magnets and hand-printed greeting cards. A strange combination, I know! But there's something for everyone!

The weather looks perfect for a fun day in Wyoming.

These sweet, darling 5th graders gave their moms a day off cooking when they made quiche in honor of Mother's Day. They also chose and arranged beautiful flowers to plant in a container as a gift.

We got so engrossed in cooking dinner for her family, this is the only picture I took. She made enchiladas, cilantro-lime rice, and lemon ricotta cake for her parents & grandparents. We explored how to double a recipe with accurate measurements. And she told me how excited she is for their upcoming family vacation. It was a fun-filled afternoon.

All moms love a homemade gift so I'm inviting any 8-12 year old to come make breakfast quiche for their hard-working mom in celebration of Mother's Day. The quiche could be served as breakfast in bed or could be a light family dinner. The kids can chose either a quiche Lorraine or a broccoli, asparagus and cheddar quiche.

Saturday, May 12
10am-noon
$40 includes all ingredients and supplies. (The quiche will serve 6.)
We will also make a small "surprise" gift for mom.

Class is limited to 4 students.
