Return to the office examined at the December roundtable The Dec. 10 roundtable event will feature a panel discussion of industry leaders representing areas in commercial real estate, architecture, office furniture and law who will weigh in on current and potential future trends in the work place in the post-pandemic environment.

Our students enjoyed a special site tour of Newport on the Levee and learned about recent redevelopment at the entertainment destination. Thanks to North American Properties associates, Regan Thomas and Kaitlyn Storie for giving us the grand tour!

Our November Series event enjoyed a delightful presentation by Matthew E. Kahn, professor at University of Southern California who spoke about his recently released book, "Unlocking the Potential of Post-Industrial Cities" to a full house of highly engaged audience members.

Join us for our first Roundtable Series event of the season, the annual UC/ULI Conference with special guests, Senator Rob Portman and Mark Policinski, CEO at OKI Regional Council of Governments. Senator Portman will open to talk about his role in the proposed bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. The second half of the program will feature Tom Powers, moderator of discussion and Q&A with Mark Policinski on transportation topics. Registration is required prior to the day of the event.

Bridging the Future discussion at UC/ULI Conference Oct. 8 UC Real Estate Center and ULI Cincinnati will present their annual conference entitled "Bridging the Future," featuring guest speakers Ohio Senator Rob Portman and Mark Policinski, CEO of OKI Regional Council of Governments.

We enjoyed a wonderful opening reception with supporters and members at TQL Stadium in celebration of our upcoming 21-22 Roundtable Series of events. Special thanks to UC basketball coach, WesMiller for his inspiring presentation.

With next season's event planning in full swing, our staff and several of our Real Estate Executive Advisory Council members greatly enjoyed our visit and tour of TQL Stadium.

Our last Roundtable Series event of the season took place this morning, hosting both virtually as well as a live event for a small audience of sponsors and board members. Many thanks to our presenters, Joe Lanni, Kenny McNutt, and Britney Ruby Miller and to moderator, Tom Powers who shared their experiences and perspectives on their businesses and the food and beverage industry as a whole. We are much looking forward to the return of live Roundtable events in the fall!

Our May Roundtable event will feature local restauranteurs in providing a food and beverage industry update. Joining us, Joe Lanni, co-founder and owner of Thunderdome Restaurant Group; Kenny McNutt, founder of MadTree Brewing Company; and Britney Ruby Miller, CEO of Jeff Ruby Culinary Entertainment. The trio will share their perspectives on the challenges they’ve faced, and how their businesses are adapting to changes within the industry. Be sure to register for this special virtual event taking place next Friday, May 14 at 8:15 a.m.
