At eLearningDOC, we are dedicated lifelong learners!
As we prepared our December Newsletter, our goal was to highlight the progress and impact we've made in supporting learning programs and the people behind them. In 2025, we expanded our design tools for rigorous quality assurance application, earned significant recognition within the learning community, and partnered with organizations and associations to broaden flexible training opportunities for their learners.
We are grateful for the collaboration and trust that continue to shape our journey. As learning evolves, we remain committed to answering your questions and supporting you every step of the way. Thank you for being part of our community!

If you’re an adult with low reading skills, everyday life can be filled with invisible barriers. Low literacy blocks millions of adults from fully participating in today’s digital world. Cell phones and computers have become a primary source of communication and information. When reading skills are limited, even simple online tasks can feel overwhelming, causing people to feel disconnected and unable to fully take part.
Join Kristen Stevenson, Ph.D. and author Janet Lee for a webinar exploring how low literacy affects confidence and opportunity across all aspects of a person's life, and how adult learning programs can change that. You’ll also hear the inspiring story of Arnie Stewart, who turned his struggle with literacy into a mission to help others change their lives through learning.

Adult low literacy doesn’t just limit personal growth. It can also keep capable people from serving their communities or their country. Many adults face barriers when trying to complete common forms like job applications and military enlistment paperwork.
🔖 Reading challenges are closing doors that should be opportunities!
On October 16, Kristen Stevenson, Ph.D., and Janet Lee will share compassionate ways educators and trainers can open those doors by creating spaces where adults feel capable and respected as learners.

Behind every production line, office, or classroom may be someone masking low literacy just to get through the day. This challenge can stop progress before it starts and hide the strengths people could bring.
Join author Janet Lee as she shares the powerful story of Arnie Stewart, one man moving from low literacy and homelessness to becoming a voice for learning and hope.
And, you'll hear from Kristen Stevenson, Ph.D., on what trainers and educators can do to close this hidden barrier through inclusive learning strategies that can reach adults with low literacy.

59 million adults read only at the lowest literacy level.
For employers, that reality may be closer than expected. ⚠️ Chances are, someone in your organization quietly struggles with reading and comprehension, putting workplace safety at risk and affecting their own performance and confidence.
For educators and trainers, it’s about finding practical ways to reach every learner. The educational terms are Universal Design for Learning and the Community of Inquiry, but what they really mean is creating learning programs that everyone can engage with, where people feel included and supported as they learn.💡
