Our own Tony Chemero, interviewed about his new book, "Phenomenology: An Introduction," with Stephan Käufer (Franklin & Marshall). The book introduces the reader to the core history of phenomenology and its relevance to cognitive science.
Phenomenology and Embodied Cognition (BSP 123) BSP 123 is an interview with philosopher Anthony Chemero, author of Radical Embodied Cognitive Science and Phenomenology: An Introduction with Stephan Käufer. The focus of this interview is understanding how phenomenology has influenced psychology and cognitive science.

Congratulations to Maurice Lamb, who successfully defended his dissertation today on explanation in dynamical systems. He's now ready to start his 2-year NSF postdoc. Maurice faced off against Tony Chemero, Tom Polger, Angela Potochnik, and Jessica Wilson.
Congratulations to Maurice Lamb and Louie Favela, two honorary Darksiders who work in cognitive science with Tony Chemero. Maurice, who is defending his dissertation in a couple of weeks, has in hand a 2-year NSF postdoc and Louie, who will be defending soon as well, just accepted a tenure-track job in philosophy at the University of Central Florida.
