What an exciting field trip for 3rd graders! A visit to California Woods Nature Center didn't disappoint. Students explored living organisms in 3 different habitats: creek, woods, and meadow. Indoor learning about some smaller "friends" and how adaptations help them survive.
It's a great day when learning in the classroom connects with nature.
