Dohn 22+ Adult Diploma Program

Dear Dohn 22+ Program Students,

Dohn Community High School has been honored to support you on your journey toward earning your high school diploma. We recognize the commitment and dedication it takes to return to school as an adult, and we are incredibly proud of the hard work you have put into furthering your education.

Unfortunately, after careful evaluation, the Dohn Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to close Dohn Community High School, effective March 31, 2025. As a result, the Dohn 22+ Program will also be discontinued.

We understand that this news may come as a shock, and we want to provide as much clarity as possible.

To ensure a smooth transition, we are working to provide several options for 22+ students, including:

1. Transferring credits so you can seamlessly continue your education at another adult diploma program.

2. Guidance on alternative educational options that fit your needs and schedule.

3. Quick processing of transcripts and records to make the transition as smooth as possible.

We encourage you to research Ohio diploma programs to find the best fit for your needs. The Ohio Department of Education’s website (www.education.ohio.gov) also provides additional information about adult diploma options and GED programs.

It’s Friday and the final day for this session of State Testing! The only thing that could make today better is if a recent graduate comes in to pick up a diploma.

Well, Ms. Carolyn Williams did just that! Love seeing students my age reach their goal and make their dreams come true! Congratulations!

The Dohn 22+ Program is closed January 20 in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

The 22+ Program is closed Wednesday through Friday so our team members can share their blessings with their families!

It makes our day when students come in to pick up their DIPLOMA! Today we celebrated Diatra Turnbolt who will walk in our Graduation ceremony this summer. She willingly put on her gown and let us take a photo of her big day!

On behalf of our amazing 22+ staff, we wanted to share our excitement about the 2024-25 school year. We are open (and have been open) and are looking forward to continuing the entire school year with all of our students working to earn their diploma.
