Sensory rooms at FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ creating memorable experiences For Yassine Chahboub, it has been a lifelong dream to attend the FIFA World Cup™. However, the 35-year-old Morocco fan has sensory needs that make it difficult for him to attend live matches. Due to sensory rooms at Qatar 2022 his dream has become reality.

[Image Description: white background with black text & holiday branches. Slide 1 Strategies for a sensory-friendly holiday season, Slide 2 Touch Sensitivities? Let your loved one sit in a lower traffic part of the room where they are less likely to be brushed up against by people, pets…unexpected touch can be startling, Slide 3 movement seeking? Create frequent opportunities for movement breaks & invite the whole group to join in. Go for a walk as a family or dance in the living room to your favorite songs! Slide 4 smell sensitivities? Try to avoid artificial scents or fragrances that can be overwhelming (e.g. perfumes, candles, air fresheners). Let the natural smells of cooking food fill the room instead! Slide 5 Sensory Overload? Create a “calming zone” in your home. Somewhere quiet & away from the crowd. If your loved one doesn’t ask for a break, look for nonverbal that indicate a break is needed. You can rest in this space too. Slide 6 like what you see? More on the blog! Slide 7 sensory for dementia logo + website]
