Kids First Teaching Principle #2: Keep the kids safe.

Last week we caught one of our QCG athletes practicing a Kip, Cast Handstand to Clear Hip to Giants (say that 3 times fast!). And now that you can refer to your own gymnast's skills with the correct vocabulary, how about three fun facts about uneven bars?

1. The Women's Uneven Bars evolved from Men's Gear! The apparatus originally started as a modified version of the men's parallel bars, with the two wooden bars adjusted to different heights.

2. In 1952, the uneven bars made their Olympic Debut.

3. In early decades, the bars were set very close together so gymnasts could quickly step or hop between them. By the 1980s, the bars were pushed much further apart to accommodate high-flying aerial release moves.

This week, Miss ZoLi runs through Aerial Arts + Acro and Queen City Ninja! We even get a glimpse of areas only available during Fall Festival (Save the date because it's happening in October!) or for campers!

If you haven't followed us yet, what are you waiting for?! Next week is the final leg of our speed tour. Will Miss ZoLi recover? Where will she go next? Did you know all of this cool stuff was under one roof?

has a chalkboard and invites their athletes to share why they love being ninjas.

This bit of wisdom (and incredible personal insight 😯) is exactly why we do what we do.

Because at the end of the day, it is ALWAYS kids first, sports second.
