You are invited to participate in an Online Focus Group for educators (licensed or unlicensed) who work with students who struggle with behaviors on June 9 OR June 10.
Ohio DEBH (Division for Behavioral Health) is a Council for Exceptional Children subgroup that endeavors to support educators as they support the social emotional needs of students. We are made up of teachers, community members, college faculty and administrators who are passionate about serving students with behavioral challenges. Ohio DEBH wants to know how we can better serve educators in the future.
We are pleased to invite you to an Online Focus Group.
Tuesday, June 9 at 9:30 - 10:30 AM: Specialized Programs Focus Group for educators working in specialized programs for students with emotional behavior disorders, any grade level K-12.
Wednesday, June 10 at 12:30 - 1:30 PM: Special Education/General Education Focus Group for all educators, working in special education or general education, any grade level K-12.
We will break out into small groups of 3 or 4 to discuss targeted questions and then end our hour together by meeting as a whole group.
If you are able to attend the Online Focus Group on June 9 or 10, please RSVP at the link below by June 5. After receiving your reply, we will send a Zoom link.

Ohio DEBH is planning to hold two focus group sessions for educators on Zoom. Join us for one of the two sessions - as a small group facilitator, a scribe or as a cheerleader.
Session 1 will be Tuesday, June 9 from 9:30 - 10:45 AM. The target audience will be educators working in specialized programs for students with emotional behavior disabilities.
Session 2 will be Wednesday, June 10 from 12:30 - 1:45 PM. The target audience will be any educator working in pre-K-12 schools.
