Youth With A Mission Colorado@Cimarron trains followers of Jesus to go to the nations to lead others to become disciples of Christ.

Our campus is set on 75 acres of heavily wooded land and bisected by Coal Creek. The base is situated 11 miles south of US 50, and 28 miles from Montrose where we do most of our shopping. The base generates over 80% of our electricity using a water-powered generator. Our spring-fed water is so pure we are 1 of 13 water districts in Colorado that are not required to treat their water. t training class, pioneered in 1976, we have seen remarkable growth, development of ministries and many voluntary full-time workers who have been trained, equipped and sent out to many nations. We have sent teams to countries like Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Thailand, Tibet, Vietnam, Nepal, Turkey and at home with Native Americans. God has called YWAM Cimarron to be a training and sending base, which continues to be what we do best. We have about 20 full time staff and numerous volunteers at any given time. Our desire as a base is to make everyone that joins us, staff, students, volunteers, and visitors, a part of our mountain family.

Fire update.

There is still a fire burning in the National Forest, but thankfully, it is now nearing full containment. While we don’t expect to be allowed to go to the National Forest until after snow fall, We are incredibly thankful for God’s protection, provision, and faithfulness throughout these past few months.

We are all back on base!

We’re so thankful to be back and so grateful that God has kept the base safe over the past month.

And SST graduated on Friday night!

The past two weeks have been so amazing. Our students grew, served different communities, and built meaningful relationships with each other. We’re so thankful for all God has done during these two weeks!

Yesterday was Day 6 of SST and the last day of lecture for the students!

We kicked things off with a 2:00 a.m. surprise—waking the students up to read them bedtime stories under the stars for about an hour and then sending everyone back to bed.

Later, we headed up to base where the students had a session on Repentance and Forgiveness. Starting Monday is the students outreach week, where they will be serving local churches and communities.

Day 5 of SST was packed with growth and learning!

Our morning session focused on Spiritual Warfare, where students learned how to recognize the enemy's tactics and stand firm through their relationship with God.

Later, they put their teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test by working through missionary scenarios, discussing how they would respond to challenges some missionaries face overseas.

We wrapped up the day with a lesson on Evangelism, equipping students to confidently share the Gospel wherever God calls them.

This week has been incredible and we are so thankful for how much God has been working through these students! Thank you for your continued prayers!

Yesterday was Day 4 of SST!

We began the day learning about how to truly praise and worship God. The afternoon was filled with laughter and teamwork during our scavenger hunt, and we ended the day studying the importance of God's Word and how to faithfully read and apply the Bible to our daily lives.

We are so grateful for the ways the Lord is moving in the lives of these students, growing their faith, strengthening their hearts, and drawing them closer to Him.

Day 3 of SST!
Yesterday was full of fun and good conversations!

We started the day with a session about Identity and finding who we are in Christ. Then came relay races, teamwork, and lots of laughs! And then we ended the day with a session on relationships.

Day 2 of SST was full of good lecture time and fun!

Students spent the morning learning about Hearing God's Voice and the Holy Spirit. The afternoon included work duties, and team-building activities (featuring an egg drop challenge!) We ended the day with a session on prayer, followed by a time of praying together.

Another great day of growing in faith, building friendships, and making memories!

Yesterday was the first full day of SST!

Our students spent the morning discovering more about the Character and Nature of God, followed by an afternoon of work duties and fun team-building activities. We closed out the day with an impactful teaching on the Father Heart of God.

Please continue to pray for our students as they continue to push into what God has for them during these two weeks.
