FIELD TRIP!

The Cicero Public Library Garden Club strolled into knowledge with our partner, The Morton Arboretum. Kate Perryman of The Chicago Region Trees Initiative (CRTI) led a tree walk through Cicero's Safety Town Park. They learned about tree identification, the importance of tree diversity, the benefits of trees, and enjoyed friendly conversations. Each participant received a garden club bag made in The Forge Makerspace!

We are so grateful for our partnership with The Morton Arboretum. For more information on the Arboretum please visit https://mortonarb.org

¡SALIDA EDUCATIVA!
