Some moments can only be described as God’s perfect timing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Today I had the sweetest surprise visitor, and my heart is still so full. Years ago, Trinity and her brother were in my preschool classes. Later, when I opened my in-home child care, she and her little brother, Jack, became part of my daycare family. Jack was just two years old, and Trinity was four. When my assistant came to get me and said, “You have a visitor… she said you used to babysit her,” I knew right away who I was walking out to see. I walk into the lobby and see Trinity standing there. Seeing that familiar smile instantly brought back so many precious memories. What made this moment even more special is something she told me all those years ago: “If I ever have a baby, I’ll find you. I want you to take care of my baby.” Today, that promise came full circle. In just a couple of weeks, I have the incredible honor of welcoming her beautiful baby into my center. What a gift. What a blessing. Moments like these remind me that God is faithful through every season. We may plant seeds without ever knowing when we’ll see the harvest, but He never wastes an act of love, kindness, or faithfulness. “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)
What a beautiful reminder that the children we love, teach, and pour into never truly leave our hearts. Sometimes, by God’s grace, they come back with little ones of their own.
Thank you for trusting me all those years ago—and for trusting me again with your greatest blessing. It means more than words can say.
God is so good. ❤️
