We had the BEST time welcoming Andy Armadillo from Texas Roadhouse to Yia Yia’s! ❤️ The kids were so excited to meet him, dance, laugh, and make some fun memories together! 🎉

And of course, no Texas Roadhouse visit would be complete without some delicious food! 😋🍗🍟 The children enjoyed chicken nuggets, crispy fries, and those famous Texas Roadhouse rolls! 🥖❤️

🚨 Choking Prevention Reminder for Parents & Caregivers 🚨

Our little ones are still learning how to chew and swallow safely, which is why **safe eating habits are so important!** ❤️

At YiaYia’s Daycare, we take mealtime safety very seriously. Children should always be **seated while eating, closely supervised, and given food prepared in an age-appropriate size, shape, and texture.**
🍇 **Some common choking hazards include:**
• Whole grapes and cherry tomatoes
• Popcorn
• Nuts and seeds
• Hot dogs/sausages
• Hard raw fruits and vegetables
• Large chunks of meat or cheese
• Hard or chewy candies
• Spoonfuls of peanut butter

Food should be cut into small, appropriate pieces, and young children should never be rushed while eating.

**Please remember: sitting down + slowing down + close supervision can make a big difference.** 💕

Behind every smile at YiaYia’s Daycare is one incredible woman… our YiaYia. ❤️
She isn't just a teacher. She's a mother, a grandmother, a mentor, a plumber, an electrician, a construction queen, a problem solver, a handyman, a shoulder to lean on, and the heart of our daycare.
No matter what challenge comes her way, she rolls up her sleeves, gets it done, and does it all with love. She has built more than a daycare she has built a family where children feel safe, loved, and encouraged to grow.
