🌿 Retta’s Blooming Garden Update! 🌸

Have you seen how beautiful Retta’s Blooming Garden is looking lately?! 🌻🦋

Our amazing PTA Board Member, Allison, has been giving the garden lots of love and attention, and it shows! Thanks to her hard work, our garden is looking beautiful, healthy, and full of life.

We’re so grateful to Allison for taking such wonderful care of this special space for our students. 💚 Retta’s Blooming Garden continues to be a place where our Hurricanes can learn, explore, and watch nature grow right before their eyes.

Take a look at these photos from our very lively and blooming garden! 🌱🐝🌼

Thank you, Allison, for helping our garden—and our Walker family—continue to bloom! 🌷

Family. Community. Heart. ❤️

Tomorrow is voting day!

📣 School Board Election Day is TOMORROW! 🗳️

Let's make every voice count. 🗣We encourage our local PTA/PTSAs and schools to continue sharing the School Board candidate information graphic through social media and other school communications. Helping families stay informed is one way we can support strong public education across Seminole County.

🗳Every voice matters, and every vote helps shape the future of our schools.

💙 THANK YOU, WALKER FAMILY! 💛

Our hearts are so full after this morning! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for our annual Dividend Breakfast, stayed for our first PTA General Meeting of the year, and to all of our amazing parents who stepped up to serve as Room Parents!

We haven’t seen attendance like this in quite a while, and it meant so much to look around the room and see so many members of our Walker family eager to learn more, get involved, and support our students, teachers, and school.

We truly feel lucky and incredibly grateful for this community. Your time, your energy, and your willingness to show up are what make everything we do possible.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for starting this year off with us in such an incredible way. We have a feeling it’s going to be a great one! 💙💛

Family. Community. Heart. That’s Walker. 🌪️

📚 FAST1 Testing is Here! ✏️

Our Hurricanes will begin FAST1 testing next week! Please take a look at the schedule so you know when your student will be testing.

A few simple things can help set our students up for success: make sure they get a good night’s sleep, arrive at school on time, and are ready to show what they know! ❤️🖤

And, as always, Walker PTA will be providing testing snacks for our students on their testing days. We want to make sure there are no empty bellies so our Hurricanes can fuel up, power their brains, and do their very best! 🧠💪

We’re cheering for you, Hurricanes! 🌪️

🎨 Want to support art teachers across Seminole County?

The Seminole County Art Council is hosting a special supply drive exclusively benefiting our amazing art teachers! 🖌️🖍️

Art classrooms go through an incredible amount of supplies throughout the school year, and this is a wonderful opportunity to help provide our art educators with the materials they need to keep creativity flowing for students all across our county.

If you’d like to support the teachers who inspire our young artists every day, consider donating to the Art Council’s drive! 🎨✨

Every contribution helps put more supplies into art classrooms and more opportunities for creativity into the hands of our students. ❤️
