You will find our next alumni feature on the sidelines during tomorrow night's homecoming game. Conor Koester, class of 2013, is widely known at Victory as Coach K because of his dedication to mentoring young athletes in both baseball and football. You can read his full bio below.

We’re counting down to tomorrow night’s Homecoming Football game with posts that feature our Academy’s long history of stellar alumni. All alumni are invited to the game, taking place at Eastlake High School. Our football seniors will be featured in a pregame program at 6:30pm, kick off is at 7pm, and homecoming court will be presented during half time. Victory Alumni will receive discounted admission.

Kicking off the campaign is 1998 graduate, Angela (Stark) Rhodes. All alumni are invited to the game, taking place at Eastlake High School. Our football seniors will be featured in a pregame program at 6:30pm, kick off is at 7pm, and homecoming court will be presented during half time. Dear Friends in Christ,

We didn’t hesitate to answer the call to participate in the Knights in Shining Armor program. The school holds a special place in our hearts. It helped shape who we would become, and some of our greatest life lessons were learned there. Sandra and I randomly met each other half-way across the world in an English pub and struck up a conversation. Imagine our incredible surprise to learn we had both gone to the same tiny high school ten years apart. It was an instant bond which led to a wonderful relationship. Decades after leaving school, we both still have close friends and a LOT of Facebook friends with whom we keep in touch. There are students now and, in the future, who will need help, whose families will struggle to keep them in a Christ-centered environment. Now, more than ever, it’s important to build up Godly people. And, we all have an opportunity to help.

We are donating in the name of my late mom, Shirley Murcott. As a single parent, she worked hard to keep me in a private school, so I could have positive male role models and a Christian education. But, she didn’t always have enough to cover the bills and my tuition. When she fell short, people stepped up for me. Now, Sandra and I want to step up for others. We are pledging to match your donations, dollar for dollar, up to $50,000.00. If your time at Cal Lutheran, LHS, or Victory means half as much to you as our time does to us, we encourage you to search your heart and give what you can.

Please Join us Saturday evening, January 27, 2024 at 6:30PM to officially induct Neil Meyer and Mike Heidtbrink into our Victory/LHSSD Hall of Fame! They become the 2nd and 3rd members to receive this honor. Our first inductee was Mike Allen class of 1985!
