After more than 20 months of bargaining and an almost 20 hour fact-finding hearing, our bargaining team has reached a Tentative Agreement (TA) that invests today's dollars in today's students and lays a foundation for the safe and stable schools our students deserve.

We stood up, we fought back, and we’ve won a TA we can all be proud of.

With an overwhelming 98.4% majority, the Southwest Teachers Association has officially voted to authorize a strike. We’ve said "enough is enough," and now we have a clear mandate to stand up for our students, our schools, and our profession. We are united, we are strong, and we are ready. 📢✊️💪
