We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to our BLA families. This time of year encourages us to reflect on the things we are thankful for, and we feel truly blessed to be part of such an incredible school community. This month we had the great privilege of having The UCSD Eye Mobile coming to the school to provide vision screening to our students. Thanks to them our children have their free pair of glasses.

Prevention is a skill. At BLA, we teach through play how children can hide, be silent, and still until one teacher tells them: “I found you, everything is ok! We practice lockdown at BLA to protect our children and be safe.

Did you know our Kindergarten curriculum introduces students to the use of Chromebooks?

One way to explore nature is to feel it through sensory-motor activities. Our sand area allows the children to activate their imaginations by receiving sensory messages and, as a consequence, producing their own creations.
