Mater Dei Catholic High School’s campus is a state-of-the-art facility of 14 buildings on 50 acres including public spaces such as Chrysostom Hall (100 seats), The Marian Chapel (200 seats), The Kassebaum Theater (500 seats), The Bosco Center (2000 seats), and the Crusader Stadium (3000 seats). MDCHS is a comprehensive multicultural educational institution providing a great Catholic education with an emphasis on Science, Mathematics, Engineering and the Arts. Buddy as the first co-educational Catholic High School in the Diocese of San Diego. In July of 2007, Marian Catholic High School closed its doors and moved to a new location in Chula Vista transforming into the current Mater Dei Catholic High School (MDCHS).

It’s Charity Bowl Week! 🏈✨

This year’s cause: We’re working with Marcus McNeill II ’26 and his non-profit SockStarz United to help the unhoused community. Bring any new socks 🧦🧦 (any size or color) and drop them off at MDCHS from September 8th-11th and CCHS from September 8th-10th!

And, of course, don’t miss the big game here at Mater Dei!

The tradition continues! Mater Dei Catholic and Cathedral Catholic are teaming up once again for Charity Bowl, uniting our communities on and off the field.

✨This year’s cause: We’re working with Marcus McNeill II ’26 and his non-profit SockStarz United to help the unhoused community. Bring any new socks 🧦🧦 (any size or color) and drop them off at school from September 7th-11th!
