IBIS Children’s Center is now welcoming a few new preschoolers into our nurturing, in-home program in Chula Vista.

At IBIS (Inclusive • Balance • Innovative • Service), we blend hands-on STEAM learning with purposeful play to help children grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Our emergent curriculum encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence, all in a warm, family-centered environment.

The Best Tea in Town! You heard it here first, we’re brewing up something sensational (pun intended). Today’s special? A cup full of colorful rice tea served fresh from our sensory station. The kids measured, poured, and stirred their way into a world of textures and creativity, all while rocking their Crazy Hair Day styles. Because at IBIS, learning is always hands-on, a little messy, and a lot of fun!

One year ago, we opened our doors with a dream—to create a warm, nurturing, and inspiring place for little ones to learn and grow. Today, we celebrate an incredible year of laughter, learning, and love! ❤️

Today we wrapped up WOYC with Family Friday! Engaging and celebrating families is at the heart of supporting our youngest learners. We invited parents to join their little ones in planting beans, vegetables, and flowers. This was an excellent opportunity to enhance the bond between parents and their children.

It’s Artsy Thursday 🖼️ 🎨. Children develop creativity, social skills and fine motor skills with open-ended art projects where they can make choices, use their imaginations, and create with their hands. The children embraced the opportunity to unleash their creativity on the playground, using chalk to craft their own unique artwork.

Work Together Wednesday!!! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾When children build together they explore math and science concepts and develop their social and early literacy skills. We built a fort using cushions and building blocks.

IT’S TASTY TUESDAY! 😋 This fun, food-themed day is about more than just cheese and crackers. Cooking together connects math with literacy skills, science, and more. With our younger children, they helped us set the table and participated in serving themselves.
