Hello Families! Next week we celebrate literacy and Dr. Seuss' Birthday with Read Across America Spirit Week!

Check out this flyer for fun dress up days that match some of Dr. Seuss' most famous books! We hope you join us in participating in celebrating literacy, and here are some ideas:

- Dress up for themed Spirit Days!
- Read the listed Dr. Seuss books each day of the week!
- Read to yourself, read to a parent and read to a pet everyday!
- Create a vocabulary poster and add a new word you learn from your reading to your poster everyday!
- Have a Family Reading Night where everyone in the family stops to read for 10-15 minutes together in the living room - you can all read the same book, magazine, story, or article or you can each read your own books silently!

Have fun and take pictures to submit for our yearbook!

Hi Parents! If you are looking for a way to help your child (or yourself) calm your mind from all of the worries and thoughts happening all around us, try these short mindfulness for kids videos. I personally did a few of them this morning, and it helped! Start with the "Get Your Mind Ready with Mind Yeti" to help your child understand what these videos are about, then try "Hello Breath: LIsten." I'd love to hear feedback if you decide to try these!
