Fred H. Rohr Elementary School is one of 50 schools in the Chula Vista Elementary School District. The school was designed by Robert E.
Des Lauriers and built in 1965. Three instructional pods of six classrooms each, a kindergarten wing, 2 portable classrooms and an administration wing that includes an auditorium, cafeteria, and library characterize the physical plant. Way to go Rohr! We were recently acknowledged at a district board meeting for the significant growth our Multilingual English Learners (MELs) as demonstrated on the 2024 ELPAC and CAASPP assessments. Ms. Barton also modeled an exemplar lesson with intermediate MEL students.

We are excited to start the new year with you all soon. Our front office will be open tomorrow if you need assistance with completing the continuing student enrollment form or the new registration form.
On Monday, July 22, 2:30pm-4:00pm, we will have a popsicle social for our families. If you have a student in transitional kindergarten (TK) or a kindergarten, please attend the TK/Kindergarten orientation.
