Southwestern College Art Gallery presents our Spring 2021 Student Art website. The site showcases over 100 creative artworks from selected student assignments from studio classes this semester. Many thanks to all of our participating students, such as Frida Muro Rodriguez, who designed our announcement image.
Enjoy their creative works for only one month, as the website goes live May 1st and ends June 1st.

Our students continued to face many obstacles to their education again this semester as we find our way to a new normal. This website makes an inspiring showcase of the results of all their efforts.
So tell your students. Please post or forward the attached announcement poster and provide your students the opportunity to view the work of their peers and themselves.
This semester's Announcement Poster was designed by SWC student, Frida Muro Rodriguez. Congratulations and thanks to her for a wonderful submission. And thank you to all the participating Students and Faculty, there would be nothing to click or swipe without their contributions.

In order to practice the mandated social distancing to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Southwestern College Art Gallery will be temporarily closed for the remainder of the Spring and Summer 2020 semesters.
The Art Gallery plans to re-open in the Fall 2020 semester, dependent upon any campus closures.
Please stay safe and hope to see you when the Gallery re-opens.

Good Afternoon Loyal Southwestern College Art Patrons,
It is with great sadness to announce the cancellation of our Spring 2020 Arts Season. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Southwestern College is following the guidelines from the State Governor, State Chancellor and our SWC Executive Level Leadership to move all instruction online through the rest of the Spring semester and look for creative/safe ways to deliver classes.
Southwestern College will be practicing social distancing to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus. During this time, employees will be working remotely and classes have been converted to online and distributed formats. Coming to the SWC STUDENT GALLERY, room 701
UNDIVIDED opens on 1/28 and runs through 2/7. We will have an artist talk in room 704B on 1/31 from 12-1pm. A reception will follow in front of the Student Art Gallery (room 700). All are invited. Thank you to Griselda Rosas who helped to coordinate with the artists and make this show happen!
