1st pre-mixed high performance grout and now pre-mixed high performance tile adhesive... is pre-mixed mortar the future?

If youve used pre-mixed grout.. you've experienced the benefits, such as no mixing, zero waste, and color consistency. These benefits have me preferring pre-mixed grout.

After using MultMax 1, which is not a mastic, but a pre-mixed superior tile adhesive... now I'm seeing the benefits of using only pre-mixed tile adhesives.

Not every job requires the benefits of MultiMax 1, but can you imagine if LHT or a 253 thinset was pre-mixed? No more dust, zero waste, and time saved.

Laticrete sent me this bucket of Multi Max 1 to try out.   Since I heard it's a true non sag adhesive,  I thought I'd put it to the test with these irregular tiles. 

One of the secrets to installing irregular tiles with ease,  is using a high quality non-sag mortar.  This method saves you from using spacers, which are a nightmare to use with irregular tile,  due to inconsistent tile sizes.

As you can see, Multi Max 1 allowed me to start at the top and adjust tiles as needed, without using a single spacer👌

Perfect shower walls made easy!

No more dry wall shims, no planing studs, no wall flattening shims, all you need is a bag of Large Format thinset👍

This is called Wet Shimming, where you use thinset in liu of drywall shims to create perfectly flat, plumb,and square shower walls.

Installing small tile over brick requires a smooth, flat surface. A mud float creates a great surface, but first I need to attach metal lath to the brick. This Ramset is the funnest way to do it!💪😬
