I'm sure you may have guessed it by now. I was once a part of the World’s finest United States Navy. I am now a retired veteran of 22 years of active service. It was in the Navy when I realized I had a calling to help children. When I was stationed in Japan; I was a children’s teacher at my church for 3 years. Then when I moved to Georgia, I was a teacher in m church for 2 years. Both times I was a teacher for school-aged children from age 6 to 13. I had so much fun, and they were so much fun to teach. I realized they didn’t learn like adults and that you need patience to work with them. I have never really had much experience with infants and toddlers, but I am a mother of three. I would have to say raising my children was the best experience I’ve ever had and now I am the grand mother of three toddlers.
