Thank you to those who joined us in support of SB 664 to expand opportunities for students and communities. We are grateful to our elected leaders, advocates, educators, community partners, students, and supporters who stood with us to amplify the importance of this legislation.

Brenda’s Jaguar Journey began at SWC, where her passion for advocacy and storytelling first took shape. After transferring to SDSU, she secured an internship with NBC 7 & Telemundo 20 that quickly grew into a full-time role.

Today, she contributes to the fast-paced world of broadcast news, helping deliver timely, reliable coverage during some of the most critical moments—from the COVID-19 pandemic to major breaking news.

Grounded in her SWC experience, her path reflects persistence, purpose, and a commitment to keeping her community informed when it matters most.
