🌧️🐴 Rainy Day Lesson Update!

Just a friendly reminder with Alaska’s fall season brings occasional torrential downpours, some so bad we’re going to need floaties just to get outside! 😂 this being said some of your lessons may be moved indoors.

Don’t worry, We’ll stay dry in the garage and have some horsey fun working on tack, breeds, colors & markings, crafts, games, discussion questions, and more. Unmounted lessons are a big part of building great horsemanship!

Families with back-to-back lessons are welcome to combine times to make the day a little easier.

Rain or shine, there’s always something to learn! 🐴☔

School starts next week, which means it’s time to get back into a routine… but who says your routine can’t include horses? 🐴🍂

We’re gearing up for FALL at Behind The Bit, and our group lessons are OPEN! Find them under the Classes tab and get riding on the schedule.

Fresh air, strong bodies, confidence, friendships, responsibility, hard work… and a whole lot of horse hair. 😂

Behind the bit had a barn outing this weekend. Where we competed in the mat su back country horseman freedom competitive trail ride. Toby brought home 6th in the advanced division, doc brought home 4th in the novice division and pistol brought home 2nd in the novice division. We’re forever in awe of these incredible horses. We are all a bit biased but we think our ponies are the best. All In all even with some mathematical errors, getting lost, and late starts we had a blast and loved every minute of the ride. ❤️
