It's been a great few days down in Krakow. I came down here to meet with some Polish Taiji and mind-body health researchers. I was honored to be invited to collaborate with them on planning a couple of studies here. I also had the tremendous pleasure of training with one of Chen Bing's Disciples, Dorota Rusin--Czajkowska. She shared Chen Bing's Fansong Gong with me and organized a workshop in the park for me to share the Hunyuan Gong with her and her students. I will be sure to share what I learned with you all when I return!

We just finished up our final week of service with Warsaw Rotary Club's Refugee Education and Support Center. We were working with Ukrainian teachers, students and parents displaced by the war in Ukraine are fundraising to get the center a smartbord for their students to work on. It was a tremendous honor for us to work with these teachers and children in the mornings and to provide workshops on conversational English and Self-care to older students and parents in the afternoons. I was especially moved by the open and candid conversations we had on wellbeing and mental health. I learned so much about how these kind and resilent people are managing the stressors of daily life in addition to unimaginable burden this war has brought to them and their families. For them self-care is resistance to this unjust war that seeks to eliminate the culture. I conducted these workshops with the support of the center's psychologist Vicroriia who also helped me to collect feedback on the program. We are hoping to collaborate in the future to create programs for Ukrainian college students and veterans.

So what's next? Well we still need to get this SmartBoard! So please donate :) I will keep the fundraiser open for a couple of more weeks while I am this part of the world and hope to be able to purchase it for them before I head back. At the moment, I am down in Krakow getting ready to meet with some Taiji researchers here in Poland. Stay tuned for more!
