After 27 years in law enforcement and working with both candidates, I do not give my support lightly. I’ve seen what effective leadership looks like under pressure, and I know what it takes to earn the trust and respect of fellow deputies, officers, and the community. That’s why I proudly support Robert Page as our Republican nominee for Sheriff.
Tomorrow, June 20th, is Primary Election Day — and it could be one of the most important days for the future of Montgomery County. Polls are open only from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Montgomery County Government Center, 755 Roanoke Street, Christiansburg, VA.
If you are a registered Montgomery County voter and care about strong leadership in our Sheriff’s Office and the safety of our families, please make time to vote tomorrow. This is your opportunity to choose our Republican nominee and have a direct say in who will protect our community for years to come.
The leadership of this office matters. The strength of our Sheriff’s Office matters. The safety of our families matters.
I believe Robert Page is the right man for the job, and I respectfully ask for your vote. Join me tomorrow, June 20th, and help ensure Montgomery County continues to have the strong, principled leadership it deserves.

I hear there’s been a lot being said about who is and isn’t “qualified” to be the next Sheriff of Montgomery County.. During my time in Montgomery County, I’ve worked with many leaders who were well qualified on paper. Over the years, I’ve come to realize that true leadership goes beyond a résumé. It’s about building trust, leading by example, and helping make our community a safer place. I’m not here to argue, tear down ,or defame anyone . But I do want to speak from firsthand experience as a credible witness.

I’ve seen qualification in action.
There were many nights when most of Montgomery County citizens were asleep in their beds, behind locked doors, safe like they should be, while Robert Page, myself, and many others were out in the dark chasing the worst of the worst. Rapists. Murderers. Child predators. The people who threaten our families, our community, and our way of life.
I watched Robert during those days and nights. I saw the tenacity he brought to the job. I saw the leadership, the courage, and the determination to never quit until the job was finished, and those being pursued were behind bars.
He didn’t do it for recognition. There were no cameras, no accolades, and no pats on the back waiting at the end of the mission. It was simply a job that had to be done to protect the families of Montgomery County, including his own.
And he did it.
Year after year we watched Sheriff Hank Partin lead this office with integrity and strength. None of us like seeing him step away, but I trust the judgment of the man who has led us for so long. When Sheriff Partin put his support behind Robert Page, that carried weight!

Sometimes the best leader isn’t the one who says he’s the most qualified, it’s the one who has already proven it when nobody was watching.
I was there hundreds of times. I saw it with my own eyes.

For that reason, I stand with Robert Page for Sheriff and ask that you vote with me June 20th from 10am to 4pm to make Robert Page the nominee to remain the Sheriff of Montgomery County!
