Coyote families, do you still need school supplies for the upcoming year? 🎒✏️

Faith Christian Church will host a Backpack and School Supply Drive-Thru on Wednesday, July 29, from 6:00–8:00 p.m.

Supplies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis!

A new school year is right around the corner, and Transition Day is less than a month away! 📚

On Monday, August 10, incoming pre-k, kindergarten, 6th grade, 9th grade, and Christiansburg Elementary School 3rd grade students will get an early start by meeting teachers, exploring their new school, and learning what to expect before classes begin.

We look forward to welcoming students and helping them start the year with confidence! 💫

Homelessness and housing instability don’t always look the same for every family. Living situations considered homeless under the McKinney-Vento Act include:
- Shelter or transitional housing
- Motel, hotel, or campground due to lack of other options
- Car, park, or other places not designated for sleeping
- Staying with family or friends due to loss of housing, economic hardship, or a similar reason

If you are living in one of these situations, your child has the right to stay in their school of origin when it’s in their best interest, or enroll immediately in a new school without delays, even if required documents are not available.

Your local McKinney-Vento liaison can help you navigate enrollment, access records, and connect you with available supports.
