For our WildCard Wednesday activity this week in combination with College Colors Day, staff created bar graphs - Work Hard & Play Hard - to learn a little bit about each other. 💙🩵

Work Hard - staff shared their alma maters or post high school adventures! 🏫

Play Hard - staff shared their favorite college teams (even if not for football)! 🏈

Friday, September 4, is 'College Colors Day.' College Colors Day is a nationwide annual event held on the Friday before Labor Day to mark the kickoff of the college sports season and promote school spirit. It brings together fans, alumni, and students across the country to wear the gear of their favorite universities, celebrating higher education, teamwork, and school pride. We encourage all students and staff to wear the colors, jerseys, or t-shirts of their favorite college or university. Whether your student is rooting for a local team, honoring a family alma mater, or dreaming about the future, let’s turn our hallways into a vibrant celebration of learning and future dreams! 👨‍🎓

We are excited to announce a new initiative our Student Committee recently introduced called CHIPS - Classroom Heroes Involved Present & Successful! 🥔

Each classroom was gifted a Mr. Potato Head. Each day that everyone is present and on time, the class gets to add a piece to their Mr. Potato Head. 👂👀👄 Once their friend is filled up, they get a special “Chip Chip Hooray!” treat. Teachers were given special signs to place outside their door when they have perfect attendance to show off their CHIPS! 🐾

Congratulations to the following classes for having perfect attendance today and getting to add to their Mr. Potato Head:
