We had an amazing Family Appreciation Night on Wednesday, and our house was packed! We enjoyed a delicious baked potato bar, fun activities with our families, and got to show off all the incredible artwork our participants had on display at the State Fair.

We are so thankful for all our families who came out to celebrate with us. You could truly feel the love in the room! And we have to give a HUGE shoutout to Shandelle for making our room look absolutely beautiful!

We wrapped up the week with Freaky Food Friday, featuring some spooky skeleton brownies! They were almost too cute to eat….almost!

What a fun, busy, family-filled week! We wouldn’t trade our crew for anything.

What a BUSY week at EOC Adult Day Center!

We kicked things off at the library with some fun crafts, then headed to the Great State Fair of Oklahoma-and what a special trip it was!

Our participants were able to see their amazing artwork on display, and we couldn’t be more proud! We had several participants and staff bring home first and second place ribbons, along with many others placing in different categories. Talk about something to celebrate!!

I made another trip back to the fair on Wednesday for Senior Day 26, where I had the opportunity to share a table as a committee exhibitor and talk with our community about Adult Day Services and all we have to offer. It was a great chance to share what makes our program so special!

Of course, no trip to the State Fair would be complete without enjoying Lots of great fair food and taking in some incredible wall art created by talented local artists.

It was a week full of creativity, community, accomplishments, good food and most importantly, great memories!

🏴‍☠️ AHOY, MATEYS! What a day at EOC Adult Day Center⚓️

We walked the plank, showed off our pirate costumes around the school, sang a sea shanty for our wonderful BIZ Team, and enjoyed an Amazing lunch of salmon and fried rice cooked by our very own Glen!

And let’s be honest… Glen takes Best in show for his pirate costume, a porch pirate!🏴‍☠️

What a crew, what a day, and So many great memories made!!

Yo ho ho! Until our next adventure!

September is almost here, and we have another exciting month planned at EOC Adult Day Center!

Our September Activities Calendar is packed with opportunities for our participants to stay active, be creative, spend time with friends, and make wonderful memories together.

Make sure to RSVP for our dinner on the 30th to celebrate Adult Day Services Week. We want to celebrate our staff, participants and families during this get together.

At EOC, every day is another opportunity to make someone feel seen, valued, and included!

🌺 Aloha from EOC Adult Day Center🌺

We had a wonderful time celebrating Hawaiian Day with our very own luau. Our friends from the EOC Fire Academy joined the fun, and we even taught the cadets how to prep an Hawaiian meal and even how to perform the Ha’a Koa Dance! Please see comments for video.

It is always special when other classes from across campus visit the Adult Day Center. We love sharing our energy, building new friendships, and showing everyone just how much fun we have.

Mahalo to the fire cadets for celebrating with us and making this a day to remember!!

🔥🍦 HOW DO YOU BEAT RECORD-BREAKING OKLAHOMA HEAT? 🍦🔥

What do you do on an Oklahoma day when the temperature hits an ALL-TIME RECORD that dates all the way back to 1918?! 😳☀️

You do what any smart Oklahoman would do… head to your local Braum’s for some AMAZING ice cream! 🍨🍦

Our crew from EOC Adult Day Center decided there was no better way to handle a historic Oklahoma weather day than staying cool inside with great friends and plenty of ice cream!

Hey Mike Morgan and Emily Sutton from KFOR Channel 4 — I think we found the official EOC-approved way to survive a record-breaking Oklahoma afternoon! 😂🌡️🍦

We may not be able to control this Oklahoma weather, but we sure know how to make the best of it!

Record heat outside. Cool treats inside. Just another great day at EOC! ❤️💙

WHAT A WEEK AT EOC! 💦 ☀️

To say this week has been busy might be an understatement! We packed a whole lot of fun, movement, laughter, and memories into just a few days.

💦 We celebrated our Annual Water Festival, and nobody was safe! Between the water balloons and water guns, there were plenty of laughs—and plenty of soaked participants and staff!

🛍️ We headed to Dollar Tree in Choctaw for a little shopping trip. Getting out into our community, making choices, and enjoying some independence is always a good day at EOC.

🥁 We kept moving with cardio drumming, proving once again that exercise is a whole lot more fun when you add music, drumsticks, and this crew!

🌳 And we made our way to Minnis Lakeview Park, where we got to meet our new instructor, Nash. We had a great time, staying active, and trying something new together.

By Friday, we can officially say: WE ARE TIRED! 😂

It has been a fantastic week, but we think everyone has earned a weekend to rest, recharge, and get ready to do it all over again Monday.

Because around here, it’s never just about filling a calendar. It’s about living, laughing, moving, making choices, building friendships, and creating memories together.

What a busy week! We have been to Not Your Average Joes, had NBA day, watched I Love Lucy episode for Lucille Ball’s Birthday, had our fire cadets over to teach a class and celebrating Elvis 92nd Birthday tomorrow.

Our administration, teachers and support staff were at Oklahoma Summit Conference on Monday and Tuesday this week. Please thank all of these wonderful individuals for pouring their hearts into your loved ones here on our EOC campus. So much goes on behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly.

We are truly blessed and grateful for the opportunity to serve your family members. ❤️
