🔥🍦 HOW DO YOU BEAT RECORD-BREAKING OKLAHOMA HEAT? 🍦🔥

What do you do on an Oklahoma day when the temperature hits an ALL-TIME RECORD that dates all the way back to 1918?! 😳☀️

You do what any smart Oklahoman would do… head to your local Braum’s for some AMAZING ice cream! 🍨🍦

Our crew from EOC Adult Day Center decided there was no better way to handle a historic Oklahoma weather day than staying cool inside with great friends and plenty of ice cream!

Hey Mike Morgan and Emily Sutton from KFOR Channel 4 — I think we found the official EOC-approved way to survive a record-breaking Oklahoma afternoon! 😂🌡️🍦

We may not be able to control this Oklahoma weather, but we sure know how to make the best of it!

Record heat outside. Cool treats inside. Just another great day at EOC! ❤️💙

WHAT A WEEK AT EOC! 💦 ☀️

To say this week has been busy might be an understatement! We packed a whole lot of fun, movement, laughter, and memories into just a few days.

💦 We celebrated our Annual Water Festival, and nobody was safe! Between the water balloons and water guns, there were plenty of laughs—and plenty of soaked participants and staff!

🛍️ We headed to Dollar Tree in Choctaw for a little shopping trip. Getting out into our community, making choices, and enjoying some independence is always a good day at EOC.

🥁 We kept moving with cardio drumming, proving once again that exercise is a whole lot more fun when you add music, drumsticks, and this crew!

🌳 And we made our way to Minnis Lakeview Park, where we got to meet our new instructor, Nash. We had a great time, staying active, and trying something new together.

By Friday, we can officially say: WE ARE TIRED! 😂

It has been a fantastic week, but we think everyone has earned a weekend to rest, recharge, and get ready to do it all over again Monday.

Because around here, it’s never just about filling a calendar. It’s about living, laughing, moving, making choices, building friendships, and creating memories together.

What a busy week! We have been to Not Your Average Joes, had NBA day, watched I Love Lucy episode for Lucille Ball’s Birthday, had our fire cadets over to teach a class and celebrating Elvis 92nd Birthday tomorrow.

Our administration, teachers and support staff were at Oklahoma Summit Conference on Monday and Tuesday this week. Please thank all of these wonderful individuals for pouring their hearts into your loved ones here on our EOC campus. So much goes on behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly.

We are truly blessed and grateful for the opportunity to serve your family members. ❤️

We got to share in this fun. It was so hot most stayed in the cool bus to watch them take off, but we were close enough to feel the wind as they took off. Video in comments.

🚁 AIR EVAC LIFETEAM at EOCTech 🚁

Our current Summer EMT and FAC 41 students had an unforgettable hands-on experience with AIR EVAC LIFETEAM as they explored one of their air ambulances up close and in person!

A huge thank you to the incredible team at AIR EVAC LIFETEAM for inspiring our future heroes and equipping them with real-world insights to excel in public service! 🙌

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our local public libraries for hosting such wonderful summer programs! Our participants from EOC Adult Day Center have truly enjoyed attending performances by Lucas Ross, the Oklahoma Violin Ensemble, and a talented local harpist, Alice in Wonderland and Circus Fun at both the Choctaw and Jones libraries.

These programs provide enriching opportunities to experience live music, engage with our community, and create meaningful memories together. We are grateful to our libraries for investing in programs that bring people of all ages together through education, culture, and entertainment.

Thank you for helping make our summer so enjoyable. We look forward to attending more amazing events in the future!
